Remember:  Every day, some ordinary person does something extraordinary.  Today it’s your turn.

Momentum is nothing more than a state of mind.

I don’t believe you can change anybody’s attitude with even the most inspiring pep talk unless it is supported by results.

If enough people care, there isn’t any problem in this world we can’t solve.

Remember:  If someone says you can’t accomplish something, it is an opinion and nothing more.  It only becomes a fact when you tell yourself that you can’t do a task.

Don’t let what you don’t have keep you from using what you do have.

Remember that adversity presents us with numerous possibilities for success if we are just willing to see them.

Winners and losers aren’t born; they are the products of how they think.

If life is a classroom, adversity is its teacher.  Every adverse incident in my life has taught me an invaluable lesson.

Things have a way of working themselves out if we just remain positive.

Whenever you point your finger at someone, three fingers point back at you.

We are not going to win because you have a new head coach, any more than you are going to fix a flat tire by changing the driver.  We will win the minute all of us get rid of excuses as to why we can’t win and stop wallowing in self-pity.

People don’t care how rocky the ocean is, they just want you to bring the ship in.

Adversity can divide or coalesce.  You can’t allow difficulties to sink you.  Everybody has problems.  What separates the champions from the also-rans is how they react to them.

Never evaluate an individual by appearance alone.  We should never use our shortcomings as an excuse for failure.

If you are in sales remember:  You aren’t selling anything, you are merely trying to solve your customers’ problems better than anyone else can.  Always keep in mind that pleasing your customer is your primary objective.

God is light and in him is no darkness at all.

If we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

We have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

We know him if we keep his commandments.

We ought also to walk, even as he walked.

Darkness is past and the true light now shineth.

He that hateth his brother is in darkness.

He that loveth his brother abideth in light.

Darkness blinds your eyes and can cause you to stumble.

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.

He that doeth the will of God abideth forever.

No lie is of the truth.

Every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

The world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

We are the sons of God.

When he shall appear, we shall be like him.

Sin is the transgression of the law.     Little children, keep yourselves from idols.

In Him is no sin.

He that doeth righteousness is righteous.

He that continueth in sin is of the devil, for the devil sinneth from the beginning.

The Son of God will destroy the works of the devil.

The message from the beginning:  We should love one another.

Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

Whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments.

Do those things which are pleasing in his sight.

We should believe on his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another.

He that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him.

He hath given us the Spirit.

Believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God.

Many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Let us love one another, for love is of God.

He that loveth not knoweth not God, for God is love.

God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casteth out fear.

We love him, because he first loved us.

This commandment we have from him, that he who loveth God love his brother also.

His commandments are not burdensome or oppressive.

Our faith brings the victory that overcomes the world.

We have confidence in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us.

“The right example was more effective than words could ever be.”
