We must stand against the wind. Sometimes we must be unpopular and simply say, “This is not right.”

It is braver and more honorable to promptly disavow and fly from error, no matter what the present seeming cost, or to frankly acknowledge a mistake, and apologize for it, and thus get rid of it, than to crouch beneath the burden, which is moral cowardice. ⏰Joseph Fielding Smith

How to survive and thrive in today’s confusing, contentious, chaotic business environment.
1. See people for what they can be not what they are.
2. Stay off social media.
3. Listen more talk less
4. Focus on how to improve yourself. As you do this you will be less critical of others.
5. Be bold but not overbearing
6. Find out the 4 or 5 things that really matter and perform them with exactness
7. When you are home – Be there. (individual adaptation required)
8. Hear Him. (Pray always)

We are free to choose our own course in life, but we are not free to choose the outcome that comes from following our own rules, no matter how many times someone says we can.
People “are free to follow their own course, but they cannot pursue an inferior course of action and expect the best outcome.” Ensign, August 2020
